Steven Visits Book Clubs

FREE BOOKMARKS, STICKERS & MORE

When your book club reads Somewhere in Nowhere, Steven is available to join your meeting — in person or via Zoom — for a conversation about the book, the writing process, and whatever else your group wants to explore. He'll bring the bookmarks, stickers, and swag.

Somewhere in Nowhere follows Simon Bugg through a turbulent senior year: a new school, a complicated family, a secret he's not ready to share, and an anxiety that feels like an alien trying to eat him from the inside. It's a coming-of-age story about identity, friendship, and finding your footing in an uncertain world — and it tends to generate exactly the kind of conversation book clubs are made for.

What to expect from a visit: Steven comes prepared to read from the book, talk about the themes, the characters, the real experiences that shaped the story, and the unexpected road from folk songwriter to debut novelist. He welcomes candid questions — the sharper the better.

In-person visits within 50 miles of Frederick, MD. Zoom visits available anywhere.
